Yacht Rock Revue Tacoma Concert reviews
Poison was great
- Cheap Trick was just really loud noise, could have been left off of the set.
- Poison was awesome. They were great, interacted well with the audience, played their old stuff, and brought in some new stuff, even with a sub drummer. I wish they were the headliner.
- Yacht Rock Revue, ok, was a disappointment. The reviews from other shows had them being outstanding. They just play their songs without interacting with the audience. At one point, a lot of down time with new stuff. Could have fallen asleep. However, the last 3 songs were some of the best.
- I would have given it a higher mark if Poison played more and Yacht Rock Revue opened up for them. The Chili Vision Screen on the right-hand side of the Lawn did not work, so you could not see them. Plus, there was entirely too much pot smoking going on, giving me a major headache. It was unavoidable.
- A good time was had with husband and friends, watching all the people. People from 6 months (why bring a baby) to 70 were there.
- Big John and Mindy were there. Did Bret mess up when he said that Taya was from Cincinnati and he was going to hang out with her on Friday? Wasn't that Mindy, and she was there? I wonder how that went over.
